The R2N3 Bottom Camp is conducted in a clinic format. Each wrestling camp is limited to 40 wrestlers to insure that one-on-one attention is given to each wrestler. A focus on one position split into separate short sessions increases retention tremendously. Coaches are welcome to come along and feel free to bring a camera so you can review the technique again in the winter.
You will leave the R2N3 Bottom Camp knowing how to chain wrestle on bottom. Chain wrestling is the ability to continuously transition between a variety of moves and positions that are designed to go together until you score on your opponent.
You begin camp learning the most likely finish, a good peterson. Then you go through a variety of rolls that get you there. From there the R2N3 Bottom Camp will walk you through various bottom positions, how to transition from position to position, and multiple scoring options from each position.
After attending the R2N3 Bottom Camp you will be able to choose bottom and put your opponent directly to his back. The fear your motion will create will often result in your opponent being forced to give up an escape.
This wrestling camp is run by an experienced wrestler who finished 3rd in AAA states and earned a AA State Championship using this system. Kevin Chapman understands how to show technique in a way that is fun and easily understood by high school and youth wrestlers alike.
